i jus copied my blogskin htmls into my web.d journal XD
cos i was bored while waiting for my father's friend to visit us.
so far, it has been a rather good CNY.
most of my relatives, i predicted, have taken the long wkend as an opportunity to go on holiday.
still, a handful of them visited us and we all exchanged of all our latest happenings...
the usual 'hey your boy has grown' remarks and also
predictions for who was going to win the Australian Open.
yea most of my fam members are tennis fans. ahhaa...
and im happie for my cousin who had the best bday, in her opinion, ever.
her bday, being on the first day of CNY. she saw it as her friends wont be coming..
but surprise surprise, SURPRISE.
oh another relative's here.
well ya'all havin a good time so far.

man, CNY approaches us again.
always been happie when this festive occasion approaches.
especially when i go visit my other family members that I dont see that often...
this year is my mom's year. so hope all good things will come her way..
also, i would like to say thanks and an excellent job well done..

well folks, after 4 days of calling
i dont think i will be getting my laptop back after all :(
but what to do?
shit happens when u least expect it.
so i tink by this end of the week, i'll be getting a new laptop.
most probably the same model, the cheapest of all the laptops....
yea i know it was real careless of me to leave somethin huge and forget bout it.
so i hope all this bad luck will be swept away when the new year comes.

im so fuckin suay.
it was only tuesday that i got back my laptop from a 2nd servicing.
it was only wednesday that all viruses had been cleaned
AND WHY OF ALL DAYS MUST I LEAVE MY LAPTOP IN THE CAB!?!?!!?!?
ARGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!!?!
i pray and hope that a dishonest passenger does not board the cab and sell my laptop
i pray that they will eventually call me and i can go collect my laptop in peace.
pls pls... i dont want to waste money and buy a new one..

Mediacorp. That is probably the ultimate goal of MCM students.
thank my lucky stars that Mark called me up to go to Mediacorp to interview
Les Ferdinand - ex Newcastle and Spurs player
Lee Sharpe - Ex united player.
no guesses that i was jumping up and down cos i finally had the chance to meet football stars face to face.
I arrived at 4pm, with mark and daniel waiting at the lobby for me.
There were other journalists as well. there were 8 of us. One of em was from the Star.
anyways, we headed down to the studio where the stars were recording a gameshow
due to launch in Feb/March.
Another surprise for me as Andy Penders, ESPN StarSports TV Presenter
arrived on the scene as the host of the gameshow.
Andy spoke to us more about the game show: how it's played, who r the teams etc etc....
then we had a phototaking session with the hosts and the stars.
Then it was individual interviews.
U dont meet football stars everyday. and daymn was I nervous when I went up to Sir Les.
But Sir Les was indeed a gentleman and very friendly.
Answered all my questions perfectly and I took a picture with him as well.
*plans to have it layered :P*
then me and Daniel went to ask Andy Penders a few questions on his team Southampton.
I told him that Football Crazy was a good and entertaining show.
Andy thanked me then Daniel asked to be on the show~
Andy asked for our name-cards and ho ho, one day i might appear on national tv.
MAN TO APPEAR FOOTBALL CRAZY AHHAHA....
My father would have to watch it!
The only boo boo was that I swopped cameras unknowingly with that journalist from the STAR.
Cos he and his camera are the same model! Canon Powershot A80.
jus emailed them to swop back the cameras so have to wait for a call from them ><
Mediacorp was nice to give us a goodie bag.
Contains a ESPN StarSports media kit, a pen, a football squashie and some other stuff.
but all in all, good experience for me.
hope to meet more stars in the future!

i just wanted to shout out before i go take a shower.
on the radio yesterday, the DJ after talking so much crap, said something that made sense.
that whatever we do, that was a choice we made.
cos u wanted it to be that way.
and whilst talkin to a friend last nite, i realized that the choice was made a long time ago.
im not gonna go back on it.
i know that you'll wait.
and i will wait too.
one day when it comes, i'll make that promise happen. =)

finally have my laptop back.
and a day after i got it back, it got spyware again.
argh, dumb fucks over the internet have nothing better to do.
but anyway, just installed a good spyware programme that blocks out most of the stuff.
right now, i dunno wad to do with a white flashing bckgrd for my desktop bckgrd.
cant seem to change to other wallpapers...
sigh.
things now are.. good.
assignments are done, but not quite over. still have some hurdles left to clear.
still, its one of those days when i feel nothing matters...
cos no matter how apart we are,

after feat writing today, I went down to the Dalet room to get my songs recorded on it. I decided that my songs would be RNB and thus brought along the Longest Yard OST as well as a compilation album from my brother's CD pouch that had Usher.
Nenghao, Derek and Sean came also to record their songs. In the midst of me recording Burn, Nenghao stole a peek at my bro's CD pouch. He wanted to see what CDs were in there...
"wahh. so many christian songs!"
"those are my bro's."
"haha, more like your brother sets an example for you. I mean, you listen to songs that has fuck that motherfucker! haha"
i smirked.
but that got me thinking of how different me and my bro are.
I listen to Hip Hop, RNB, Jrock, Jpop, Rock, some punk rock, Pop. and Christian too.
However, my bro listens mostly to Christian and occasionally rock.
He doesn't touch on other things besides that.
and I think the genre of music we listen to has shaped our personalities in a way.
He is more conservative, more hardworking than I am. Not really that open when there are social gatherings.
I'm the complete opposite I guess. Sometimes I am quiet, but most of the time I am not.
But the one thing both of us have in common
is that we fully believe God is in control.

Louis is finally back.
Great to have him back. I told him about teh holiday and about that matter.
Although I know he was 'experienced' in that matter, but I think at the same time he felt a wave of nostalgia coming back.
Still glad that he is able to give some advice.

I just got off an interview with my interviewee for my feat 2...
and i never thought that this interview would have left me touched...
and for the sake of privacy, i shall call him A...
A last year had an accident that left him with a major head injury...
pior to that, he was the rugby captain of his school and an excellent student..
that year he was gonna do his A levels...
but the accident changed all that...
any normal person would have been left devastated..
but not him.
he continued on with life.
he suffered an injury such that it damaged his brain which severly affected his speech and physical movements..
but he still carried on.
when i saw him, he was riding the gym bike in his house.
RIGHT after he had taken a walk around his neighbourhood.
6 months ago, the doctors told his father that they couldnt see him walking.
6 months now, look where he is.
This is really a testimony to God's faithfulness on how He looks after all of us..
and an inspiration to evryone non how he gets on with his life, no matter how tragic his setback was, and how it left him in that state.
God sent help in the form of his family, his friends, the church.
it was also within him that he had the motivation to carry on...
i could sense his father's happiness and tears in tellin me his miraculous recovery...
i am still speechless because im really moved...
A, you really stand out as a hero to me.
as an inspiration
and as a pillar of God's promise of not forsaking us when we need Him the most.

at the moment, im feelin my body temp. rising. and my palms are in cold sweat.
sore throat, but seems to be going away after 3 pills of lozenges...
but still hurts.
maybe i shouted too much when watching football.
as the chinese put it, huo kai. translation = u deserve it.

i see if i can make it for lectures tmr.
after all, my grp mates will kill me if i didnt bring the stuff...
