「 invaded it on 9:30 AM 」

all this talk on politics, the election and parties have been the topic during the past few weeks.
workers party, the SDP and PAP.
my parents don't need the vote as our constituency won't be contesting.
anyhow, should there be opposition in Singapore?

i think there should be or else Singapore politics will then be boring.
if i could vote, PAP will get mine.
True, Worker's Party's manifesto (i forgot) speaks about standing up for the people, especially the low income group.
but looking at the bigger picture, PAP has done a good job over the past decade.
There have been more jobs, more accodomation for the people etc etc..
the fact is, has anyone complained about the way PAP govern things?
whether one comes from a lower or high income group, i think everyone has been comfortable with the government.
no riots, no political unrest. that proves that we have a stable society.

btw, i think it is time that MM Lee steps down from office, imo.
don't mistake me, i respect the man alot.
he has done so much for Singapore ever since the Separation.
He proved to everyone back then that he would undertake the herculean task of changing Singapore into what it is today.
for that, all of us really owe him.
but he's well over 80 yrs of age, so i really think he should allow the younger generation to take over the helm.
if not, next year, he will be given a new title next year.
He'll will be the FM
