「 invaded it on 5:19 AM 」

right, now for that james bond review...

'The role of 007 is an iconic one, yet almost the whole world rests on that actor's shoulders to deliver a brillant performance.

Daniel Craig certainly doesnt disappoint.

Arguably, Brosnan's decision not to continue with the bond role has given this not well known actor to step into the limelight and show what he's made of.

Right from the start, with his icy blue eyes, James Bond comes alive, chasing his target through a series of construction obstacles, scaling a crane 30 storeys off the ground, gunning through an ambassy and still manage to escape with his mission accomplished.

the name's bond indeed.

If i can recall, Brosnan's best bond movie was definitely Goldeneye. 007 vs 006, fan-heaven stuff. But right after that, his movies became more slapstick than usual. Villian wants to obtain something and use it for world domination. Bond would do something and save the day. and bed the girl.

well not this one.

Bond, this time, has to stop a certain villian from funding global terrorists. And the only way to do that... is a simple yet thrilling game of poker. Now how's that for wits and trickery? But that's not all to it. There's more twists and turns, but if you're sharp enough, you'll be able to spot it. There's a perfect balance of action and dialogue, bringing out the best in the storyline and those funny one liners too.

(Bond: you know you're not my type.
Bond-girl: cos i'm smart enough for you?
Bond: single.)

Daniel Craig portrays the ruthless yet charming 007 in a different light. Please don't diss the dude just because he's (bloody fugly to some), blond or short. It's time for a new change and damn, its good.

How bout some martini at the bar afterwards?

rating: 4 outta 5 stars.
