(the funky lights in the clinic)
friday night was abit special for me.
my mom had a free pass to the opening of the Canary - a set of 4 clubbing pubs and discos next to each other.
special offer was that from 8-10pm, it was drinks on the house.

so yes, together wit my mom and her office colleagues, it was my first night out seeing the bright lights of the nightlife.
but firstly, screw you if u think its wuss/mom's boy to go out wit my mom to such a place.

moving on, i went inside FashionBar, Bice Bistro (hmm maybe wrong) and the Clinic. Also got into MOS free of charge.
of all the newly opened places, i think the Clinic stuck well to its theme, in a medical-type of area.
they even had a room full of wheelchairs, so people gathered in the centre, spinning around and having a good laugh.

i had a glass of champagne and a bottle of Carlsberg beer as my free drinks.
lotsa chicks and dudes hanging together, people streaming in, loud music blasting from every angle...

still, i just don't get how u clubbers can enjoy this. (now shut up and listen before all u start flaming me - im just relating my experience)
seriously, i mean really, seriously.
there's loud music everywhere, so I guess u must have very good throats trying to scream your freaking lungs out to talk to someone.
or good ears for that matter, taking in both music and the words of the person you're speaking to.
and tight pockets when moving from one place to another while navigating through a massive sea of people...
and girls, i guess u must not mind the possibility of a hand or two from somewhere trying to reach for your melons.

im guessing together with entrance fee and the drinks consumed, a minimum of 100 bucks is spent alone on a clubbing night.
unless you've got a job that pays well or you're rich, im not willing - or to put it bluntly, assed- to spend 100 bucks to get myself potentially wasted and having people sending me back home puking in a cab.

well yeah, u guys must enjoy the nightlife.
that's fine u know really, im just stating my points like i said. i have my own damn opinion and its up to you whether u agree or not.

i'd rather get my own 6 cans of beer and get my own vodka bottle and a few soft drinks to mix, and go somewhere peaceful to talk with friends.
